Tatkraft wants to bring about a change of perspective in Swiss society: From a deficit-orientated view of people with disabilities to inclusion and self-empowerment.

Disabling environmental factors lead to people with disabilities being excluded from equal participation in society. It is up to Swiss society to adapt the environment to people with disabilities so that they can utilise their individual resources and abilities and participate in society on an equal footing.

Participation always means co-determination. This is why Tatkraft supports people with disabilities in getting involved and thereby accelerating and at the same time helping to shape the desired change in the state and society.

Tatkraft is therefore committed to the following vision: “Creating a Swiss society that also perceives disability as a strength and recognises and uses the resources of each individual.”
