Ability Center

Beendet
The Ability Centre empowers people with disabilities to develop, implement and run ideas and projects independently. To this end, the Ability Center offers user-centred support services that are developed by and for people with disabilities in order to break down barriers to project implementation. This includes individual counselling, workshops, networking and specialist expertise.

Projektbeschrieb

To implement and realise the vision of an inclusive society, the Tatkraft association launched the Ability Centre pilot project in 2020. The Ability Centre enables and empowers people with disabilities to have the courage to stand up to entrenched structures, actively participate in shaping them, interact visibly and thus accelerate change towards real equality. Only in a society that promotes diversity and lives inclusion can progress and a better, fairer world be achieved..

The Ability Centre supports people with disabilities individually in implementing their own project ideas. The offer includes individual advice from a project coach, access to a volunteer pool with experts who can provide competent support for the project on a voluntary basis, barrier-free workshops to expand project management skills and networking with each other as well as with relevant stakeholders, people and organisations in the respective subject area.

In this way, we want to make numerous projects fly together and come one step closer to realising self-determination and inclusion.
