Inclusion initiative

Laufend

Equality for people with disabilities should be on the list of priorities in Swiss politics! Around 1.7 million people with disabilities live in Switzerland. The inclusion initiative calls for a self-determined life for people with disabilities and wants to enshrine this in the constitution. Together with a network of self-advocates, committed citizens and organisations, we are collecting signatures. You too can support the initiative for more inclusion in Switzerland. Simply download the signature forms, print them out and sign them. Then fold the signature forms and drop them in a letterbox or hand them in at the post office counter. There is no need for an envelope or stamps.

This aims to ensure the equal and self-determined participation of people with disabilities in society. The "Karl*a inklusiv" series focuses on the Convention. Presenter and journalist Marah Rikli and presenter and podcaster Jahn Graf discuss the current status in the city of Zurich and Switzerland with various guests.

Inclusion check

Laufend

The Inclusion Check is a screening programme designed to help political municipalities to assess their current situation with regard to inclusion and the guidelines set out in the UN CRPD and then to remove barriers faced by people with disabilities at municipal level. The aim is to prevent discrimination against people and enable them to participate in community life.

Disabilitypolicy.ch

Beendet

Behindertenpolitik.ch empowers people with disabilities in Swiss politics and their political work. Because people with disabilities have something to say, and not just when it comes to themselves. Nevertheless, they are underrepresented in political parties, parliaments and government functions. In order to create access and put inclusion into practice, we promote politics by people with disabilities and people with disabilities in politics.
